AVMA collaborates with veterinary libraries to digitize journal articles

Past issues of both JAVMA and AJVR are being digitized, and readers can currently view all the issues from the 1990s. The effort comes thanks to a task force that has combined expertise from AVMA staff members and librarians from Cornell University, Texas Tech University, the University of California, Davis, and the University of Pennsylvania.

Hello. ⚠️ Photos might be uncomfortable to look at, so please don't click if you're not comfortable looking at skin bruises etc. I'm posting the ones without any bleeding, but her wounds usually bleed moderately. This is our big girl. She has been dealing with this kind of skin infection that has been ongoing for almost a year. Her fur has been falling of because of the wounds.

Slow Loris should not be considered an example of Müllerian mimicry

It simply does not fit the bill. Yes. they are venomous enough on their own to kills most predators. If they allowed natural selection to take place, they would have developed a more obvious form of mimicry - this would indeed be müllerian mimicry But that's obviously not what's going on. As a primate, the Loris was smart enough to figure out, that it can imitate Indian cobra to avoid predators.
