Like the recently posted entry on birding Kabul, this isn’t really much of a birding post – it features just two or three really bad (= taken with a mobile phone; = I do not really want these photos to be associated with me as a bird photographer at all bad) photos. So, be prepared to look at a few awful bird photos and quite a few somewhat better (but still taken with a mobile phone) photos of Afghanistan, and a bit of covert advertising at the end – or skip reading this post

there is a stray cat in my street, my neighbours feed her, but for some reason, specifically at night never in the morning, she always comes to lay on my lap while I have a smoke, I don't mind her affection at all just confused why she does this despite me not feeding her. Shes a Calico, 1 years old probably less. She only lets me touch her when she is on me if she isn't she'll walk away any time I try.

I've noticed that it seems like birds move in a very twitchy way compared to mammals, even if they are in a similar size, like a chicken compared to a cat. Are their muscles different in some way? Or is it because they are lighter than mammals?

Post: Hey everyone, I've been feeding a stray cat for the past two years, and unfortunately, he got hit by a car or bike last week. I sent him to shelter for further care and treatment. He's currently at a shelter in Delhi, dealing with a jaw dislocation and an injury to one eye. Since arriving, he seems scared and is having trouble eating properly due to his mouth hanging open.
