The AAVMC announced January 14 that Dr. Andrew T. Maccabe would leave his position as its CEO by the end of June. He previously served as associate executive director for five years before returning as CEO in May 2012.

Memorable encounters with Mammals Part II It’s generally reckoned that there are more deer in Britain today than there were in the Middle Ages, a fact that is almost certainly true. There’s also a much greater variety of species of deer living here now than than there were four or five hundred years ago, for along with our native Roe and Red Deer we also have large populations of Fallow, Sika, Reeves’s Muntjac and Chinese Water Deer.

My poor little man doesn’t have a name. He was a stray outside but when the freeze hit I had to move him in and just cannot decide on a name that fits…if you notice he has an M on his forehead so maybe something that starts with an M? I just want a name that fits my little man and appreciate all answers.
