Chewy will be opening a handful of veterinary clinics in 2024, starting in South Florida and Denver. The company is launching the practices under the brand name “Chewy Vet Care,” which will offer services including routine appointments, urgent care, and surgery.

The AVMA House of Delegates, during its regular winter session, being held January 5-6, 2024, in Chicago, will vote on six resolutions that would amend AVMA policies. These policies deal with noncommercial transportation of pets, management of dog and cat populations, and raw pet food diets, among other issues.

Hello! This story happend couple of years ago, mid 2019 I believe. It was an extraordinary hot summer. Anyway, I was walking around in one of my favorite parks in the middle of the night so I could barely see my feet in front of me. I just enjoyed being near all the trees and then I had to take a p**s. So I walked to a couple of maple trees when it suddenly felt as if I kicked a soft ball.

So I have a question for disease experts: I recently have scratched by a stray cat for no particular reason and I got my first shot of rabies vaccine the other day 12-15 hours later from exposure. The size of the scratch which located on my finger is less than a centimeter and I have shown no symptoms or whatsoever. Was I late for the vaccine? Should I be concerned?

forest buffalo: The African forest buffalo is a small subspecies of the African buffalo. Cape buffaloes weigh 425 to 870 kg (937 to 1,918 lb), whereas African forest buffaloes are much lighter, weighing in at 250 to 320 kg (550–705 lbs). Weight is not the only differentiation, however; this subspecies has a reddish-brown hide that is darker in the facial area.
