The Comparative Oncology Program at the National Institutes of Health has transformed canine comparative oncology since the program’s founding 20 years ago, according to Dr. Deborah W. Knapp at Purdue University and Dr. Steven Dow at Colorado State University, two of many veterinarians working in the field.

Was hiking through the southern Japanes Alps today (near Fuji) and ran into these tracks and droppings a few times. I was curious to which animal they belonged. The paw prints scream bear to me, but the droppings seemed to small (they were maybe 50cm away from each other). Then again I know nothing about animals or tracks so I'm just guessing Anybody knows which animal this could be?
