My Siamese cat smells like ash or a burning fireplace, my old boxer used to smell like honey and my staffy mix just smells cozy and warm lol. what is this and why does it happen?

I am just wondering because one of my neighbors screams at their daughters dog and sounds all mean at first when they try to get it to come back to them and then talks all sweet to it and then all mean again and can that cause the dog or animal trauma and not make the animal not want to come back to you when you call them.

I have been talked to by animals for the couple of months if not years. Everytime when I shift my attention they are there to make a noise. I must be honest and say that I came in contact with the birds first, crows. And have never been harassed or followed by any other bird. I would not say follow but they react to my attention. But these couple few months that I have been aware they are literally commenting on what I am doing without even seeing me.

For context, my neighbour has a cherry tree basically right next to us. Lately I’ve been finding these pit remains on my porch stashed away between the stones and I’ve noticed little holes in the pits! Wondering if it’s rodents, birds, ants ??? Any help is greatly appreciated !
