Naked-faced and Bristle-nosed Barbets occur in the forests along the west coast of Africa, Gray-throated in central Africa’s rainforests and Sladen’s is endemic to great rainforests of the Democratic Republic of Congo. This image was taken in Nsuta Forest, Ghana. Bristle-nosed Barbet is a West African sister species of Gray-throated.
