This image was taken in Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda. Naked-faced and Bristle-nosed Barbets occur in the forests along the west coast of Africa, Gray-throated in central Africa’s rainforests and Sladen’s is endemic to great rainforests of the Democratic Republic of Congo. Note the strange nasal tufts at the base of the bill.
