The genus is Cyanoramphus , and they are sometimes known collectively as the kakariki (literally little kaka). Compared to that of say the Collared Kingfisher , for example, it would hardly raise an eyebrow. Yellow-crowned Parakeet , Cyanoramphus auriceps.
