You can help pets in need through the month of December by donating food, supplies or cash which will then benefit more than 70 community animal shelters across the U.S. The holiday season can be challenging for local shelters and rescues, says Renee Coughlin of Best Friends Pet Care. Sharleen D from Arcadia, CA plans to take pictures of all the lost pets at her local animal shelter and make an album on facebook and share it with her friends.
