But still new species are found. The Cocha Antshrike was one of these species not long ago. Finally the species was complete.

A Guan was collected in 1876 in a mangrove forest near the border between Peru and Ecuador. The decades of storage in a museum came after it was regarded as an extinct species. The Guan was declared extinct.
