After 14 hours of flight / 20 h spent travelling to reach Costa Rica from Eastern Europe, I landed in San Jose in the rain. – the Tropical Agricultural Research and Higher Education Centre in Turrialba. It was close to 5 a.m., the best time for city traffic to eat me alive. More about it in the weeks to come.
