I also really love the sea turtle, and the “petting” area where you can touch little sharks and rays. Penguins are one of my favorite things to visit at the aquarium. Of course, the gift shop is a lot of fun too, they even have this big “Bruce the shark” hanging out there.

These are not pet cats, but cats that have only ever lived in the wild and can survive in extreme conditions. Birders are always happy to see a turtle or tortoise, and there are times of the year when my social media feeds are sprinkled with photos of turtles beings removed from roads or crawling to land to lay eggs. Conservation is a major thread that runs throughout the book. They just look so content and stable!
