We've written about the Calgary Zoo here before. To many people, the number of animal fatalities at the Calgary Zoo in newer years seemed very high. A hippo passed away following a long, horrible transfer from another zoo. Woodyer wanted Lanthier to quit and for the zoo’s accreditation to be taken away.

Heidelberg Zoo to the south-west of Neuenheimer Feld, all over the place but most often at the seals enclosure and the adjacent kiosk.

Busch Gardens’ animal care experts stepped in when they saw that the mother was not attentive. With fewer than a dozen successful births each year, aardvark births are not common.

There are fewer than 40 aardvarks in zoos in North America. The baby will join mom “Izzy” and dad “Friz” in the upcoming weeks and will be an Animal Ambassador for the park, along with its older brother “Zawadi,” who will be a year old on April 10. They are solitary by nature, and aardvark births are not common.
