So far, Bridget has raised over 50% from friends, family, and animal lovers from all over, which is amazing! Any funds that are raised in excess of Skittles’ medical bills will be donated to Cape Ann Animal Aid, a no-kill animal shelter in Gloucester, Massachusetts.

Kitten Rescue’s goal is to help Los Angeles become a no-kill city. Every year they host a great event to help raise the funds that they need to continue their rescue efforts. Since its inception, Kitten Rescue has rescued and placed over 10,000 cats into loving homes.

The no-kill shelter I adopted them from didn’t know too much about them except that they were found half-starved in the Jasper area after Hurricane Rita tore through areas of the east Texas coast. We also never raised our voice at either of them, and always let them sniff us thoroughly before we handled them.
