The Waterhole at Forest Park: The Best Place in New York City to See Wood-Warblers

Unfortunately, this has been a very dry spring in New York City so, as you can see in the photos above, intrepid Queens birders have made makeshift bird baths to take the place of what is normally a vernal pool. At least one Nashville Warbler came through and I didn’t hear a single person call it a Connecticut Warbler.
