A monkey was rescued from a factory in India where it was being held in captivity. Poor monkey! It's an adult male macaque suffering from zoochosis. It's the first time I've ever heard the term. They don't know what they are going to do with it because it is so severely traumatized and probably can't be released back to the wild.

The NSPCA in November 2008 charged Jordaan for his "merciless treatment" of a heavily pregnant vervet monkey. She said the monkey's infant was removed by Caesarean section on October 31.
