It included a video that a production company took with a drone in our park’s corridor. If you have a drone and fly it over a field and it finds a Short-eared Owl that you didn’t know was there and you only saw it after you uploaded your video…does it count on your list? How close is too close?

A Nashville Warbler Bathing in the Pond During Migration

Dead Sea Turtles Near Oil Spill Site

According to this article, "at least 25 sea turtles have washed up dead on Mississippi beaches over the past few days, according to multiple media reports. The web page also has a video. So far, there is no evidence that the oil spill killed the turtles, but tests are ongoing."

When Feeding Birds Runs Amuck

There was a man in Minnesota who was recently charged with a misdemeanor for violating Bloomington’s city code on feeding wildlife because he was scattering seed on the ground and he wasn’t just scattering a few handfuls, witnesses had video of him dumping bags out, even after being warned about the ordinance.
