I can’t help noticing that you’ve just posted an angry story about Cecil the Lion on your timeline. And that lions are really cute. And you’ve posted a link to a petition to an airline to ask them to stop transporting trophies. Ah, you’ve blocked me. But they can’t, because the park is fenced.

The local community protects the swamp because it’s the home of their totem, the lungfish. A far cry from the “lion jams” in safari parks. and pre-arranged transport at the landing took me back to Entebbe airport. My guide Joseph in Mabamba tried hard to get me a Papyrus Gonolek , but recent papyrus cutting had chased them away.
