When I was still a meat-eater, the two foods I would not touch were veal and lamb. Bo Obama celebrated his birthday with a doghouse cake made out of veal. Veal is especially cruel, even for factory farming, although now I think foie gras is a strong competitor. Certainly disappointed in the Obamas for such a poor choice of "cake."

There are four flavors total; Chicken Paw Pie, Savory Lamb Stew, Hearty Beef Stew, and Chicken Muttballs with Pasta. We love that it is made with natural ingredients such as real meat and farm picked veggies. The first thing we had her try was the “Chicken Paw Pie”, and she simply loved it!

To the Editor: Re “ PETA’s Latest Tactic: $1 Million for Fake Meat ” (news article, April 21): The commercial development of meat from animal tissue won’t result in “fake meat” any more than cloning sheep results in fake sheep. A more accurate name for the end result would therefore be “clean meat.”

I refuse to eat pork, but eat grass-fed beef when I am making Persian food, and certain forms of chicken and lamb with other ethnic foods I consume. I also have a rule to eat any cultural food when I am traveling to another country or am a guest or have guests of people from another culture who eat food with meat.
