Some people think it’s just plain fun to kill enormous numbers of animals and pile up their bodies, and when there’s no “bag limit” it’s legal to do so. Obviously killing contests have nothing to do with traditional hunting, and “animal abuse” is normally used when describing domestic animals.

Gulls in Argentina have learned to land on Southern Right Whales as the whales come to the surface to breathe. The gulls then peck at the whales’ backs, causing wounds from which the gulls feed. Kill the gulls. The solution? There has to be a better way to deal with this, no?

Maybe Moss is right, and birds have changed history. Hundreds of millions of sparrows were killed, almost to the point of extinction. The book is a grab-bag of facts about the ten birds, mostly culled from other works. A prime example is the 1958 Chinese campaign to eliminate sparrows, considered pests because they fed on grain.

I saw the man looking around and then he left the area with a car" Also rumours says that back in 2017 in Arachova the employees of the Municipality were hitting all the stray animals and they were killing all of them by putting them alive in a garbage truck to tear them to pieces, police is doing nothing because they have money and power!

Putting a baby bird back in its nest is not always the right thing to do. Mites will eventually kill the bird. Even if you do not see an obvious wound, cat or dog saliva, which is full of nasty bacteria, can still get into a bird’s eyes/orifices and will eventually kill the bird; it will just die more slowly and painfully.

We say no, he stops for a split second and he goes right back at it. The vet suggested hydrogen peroxide washes once it's been a few days but I don't like using that because it can kill some of the healthy cells as well, I've always been told not to put H.P. I feel bad for him. I feel bad for the guy. Thanks All!

People are often surprised that large predators kills smaller species but its actually a common phenomenon and I have previously seen a Leopard carrying a dead African Wild Cat at Punda Maria in Kruger National Park and Lions killing a Black-backed Jackal in Namibia’s Etosha National Park.
