It is a bit worrying that while the Basel Zoo is listed by Google as having a page on the Red-tailed Laughingthrush , that page itself does not seem to exist anymore, and the species is not listed among the inhabitants of the aviary of the zoo. His obituary was published in Nature.

The Bearded Vulture looks surprisingly like the Night King in “Game of Thrones” Probably not a coincidence. Not in a zoo but in the wild, despite the fence in the background. Good for animals, of course – particularly some shy mammals. A juvenile nearby. Three Himalayan Marmots without nice blue flowers. Moupin Pika.

Bob Barker Offers to Pay to Move Canadian Elephants to Sanctuary
