The Yellow-spotted Barbet Buccanodon duchaillui is a rainforest species, named for Frenchman Paul Du Chaillu who was the first explorer to venture inland from Gabon into Africa’s vast lowland forest bloc. This image was taken in Namibia’s Erongo Mountains.
