So far we have seen Impala, Duiker, Greater Kudu, Mongoose, Zebra and warthogs around the neighborhood, and yard. The African Fish Eagle was a great first day bird. The house is a four bedroom, four bath two story, with a deck running around three sides of the upper story, great for wildlife viewing.

4 The Love Of Animals

Other animals that have rarely been seen on film such as the Palm nut vulture, bush pigs, mongoose, monitor lizards and snakes feeding on fish and crabs found in the Mangroves. Here is a sneak peek video about one of the more interesting creatures, the mudskipper (also known as a walking fish).

Brown Pelicans were always present and regularly dove for fish, as you can see in the above photo. In addition to the birds there were also Mongoose (introduced, of course) that called the area around the mini golf course home. A couple of Willets joined the flock of turnstones on the last day of our stay.
