Although I love dogs they're too dependent on humans, it's true that stray/feral dogs can form packs and survive in the wild a regular dog like a golden retriever would get eaten by a lion instantly. Would suprisngly rodents and small animals. In my opinion dogs would be the first to go. Cats would be the next.

As the name suggests, they rescue rabbits, but they also rescue other small animals like ferrets, and other small rodents. Our first rescue mission was at a business park in Redmond where we saved 650 feral rabbits from the ultimate fate of the arriving bulldozers. Tags: rescue spotlight ferret rabbit rescue rodent.

The only mammals of the day were feral Nutrias (Coypus), aquatic rodents originally from southern South America released from the bankrupt fur-farms and well established here. I am checking for darker heads and necks, but the sunset is taking over… “How do you manage to tell them apart,” I ask him. Watch for the dark beaks.”

Feral cats have been able to adapt very well in Australia and have grown larger over the years and can survive in areas that you would not expect. Feral cat predation on Pied Oystercatcher eggs. There are no Feral Pigeons/Rock Doves in the Broome area and these invasive species are mainly found in the cities of the south.

They would realize that wild owls fly silently through the night and grab unwary rodents, not unsuspecting packages of processed cow meat. That is, until the ducklings grow up, are released into a pond, and greet the local feral cat colony as long-lost relatives. In a perfect world, people would know better.

I find it astonishing that people argue of whether feral cats are bad for birds in North America. The plethora of approaches to the feral Cat problem is not an outcome of a diversity of great ideas; it is the ugly chimera of inappropriate compromise among biased and often poorly informed stakeholders. Let me tell you this: They are.
