Feral cats are a huge problem in Australia and they do take a lot of the eggs. These are not pet cats, but cats that have only ever lived in the wild and can survive in extreme conditions.

I wish for a federal law prohibiting domestic and feral cats from roaming free outdoors. It’s August, and first on the menu is: Fried Rehabber. Summer is high season. Change in Law. That’s easy!”
