It simply does not fit the bill. they are venomous enough on their own to kills most predators. If they allowed natural selection to take place, they would have developed a more obvious form of mimicry - this would indeed be müllerian mimicry But that's obviously not what's going on.

These practical and functional examples of public art were “designed by local artists and chosen in partnership with local community members.” But this “tiny, hyperactive songbird” is not found only high in the tree canopy. It also found much lower, adorning some of Portland’s public trash cans.

For example, migratory waterfowl make extensive use of national wildlife refuges during migration or as wintering grounds. For example, most of the world’s Black-footed and Laysan Albatross and Ashy Storm-Petrel breed on these islands.

A lot of art created via AI is truly awful – see the example above. I used a free version of Hotpot – they want the work to be attributed to their company, but frankly, I am not sure this will drive up their sales. Anyway, the reason for showing this is to indicate that 10,000 Birds is still looking for writers.

Other of Higgins’ examples are not so familiar but make perfect sense, pun intended, and make for fascinating reading. Scientists estimate there are twenty or thirty separately identifiable human senses.
