In KwaZulu-Natal he collected the type specimens of Yellow-rumped Tinkerbird , White-eared Barbet , Blue Swallow , Brown Scrub-Robin , Short-tailed Pipit and others species. The nearest population to them is several thousand miles north in Malawi and southern Tanzania. Image by Hugh Chittenden.
