Take an example, Tembe Elephant Park in South Africa. If tourists are too dim to tell Sierra Leone from Botswana or Tanzania, do we really want to rely on them to save Africa’s species? We can’t afford just to let nature be nature any more. Not if we want to hang on to what we have left.
