You can take in views of waterfowl including Eurasian Wigeon , Barnacle Geese , Trumpeter Swan , and a plethora of ducks and gulls. Old Town Tallinn, Estonia. This area also provides additional platforms, hides and towers to view the different areas of the bay. It’s a great place to spend the better part of a day!

I only scored 43 in March, but that was because I was away birding in Portugal and Estonia. Big flocks of Long-tailed Ducks were a delight, but our target bird, Steller’s Eider, let us down – we found just a single female, not the flocks we were expecting. My overseas trips did boost the overall year list considerably.
