Even people with no other interest in wildlife, who couldn’t tell a sparrow from an ostrich (or even a dolphin from a fish) love dolphins. Dolphins are basically just smart sharks that breath air. Now don’t get me wrong, I like dolphins. And dolphins can do bad things.

I know dolphins are rapists, zoophiles using other fish for flashlights , and necrophiliacs. I'm just wondering what other species of animals are awful? Tiger and Squirel males will kill a mother's children so she will become broody and be back for mating season.

Shearwater Chase in Costa Rica

We had been floating, birding amidst a massive flock of shearwaters, surrounded by an aquatic city of Spinner Dolphins when Wilfredo spotted two small dark shearwaters flying away from the feeding flock. And it was full of Spinner Dolphins and birds. This being a season for migration, many other birds were also possible.

Would you actually actively campaign against rights for some species? You could be for or against animal rights and believe the gateway theory.

It does not include near-shore, coastal species, like Brown Pelican, Elegant Tern, and Harbor Seal.

"funhouse mirror" test?

I know that there are several species of animals that pass the "mirror test", i.e. they recognize themselves in mirrors (dolphins, apes, corvids.). Has there been any tests using "funhouse" style mirrors that distort the image? Would a chimpanzee look in a wobbly mirror and be able to identify themselves?
