After that he cooks and eats it. modern cats/dogs should be seen as a protection and when you think deeply you understand that it is just nature that coyote also has a stomach to feed. Maybe you saw that popular video recently aswell where a small dog gets killed by coyote and owner takes revenge. i am not defending someone here.
