People ask me about my favorite story in the collection. Then I noticed that several family members were also nursing bleeding wounds. I didn’t have high hopes for Fizzle’s survival, but I called animal control and learned that they had taken Fizzle to a shelter about ten miles away. I swore and jumped back.
