Meanwhile, on Chongming island, I rescued a Northern Shoveler which got caught in one of these evil, almost invisible strings that the farmers use to protect their fields from hungry birds. Not always terrible – ok if you are in business class, or you catch it yourself. Like fast food, but free and likely more healthy.
