So, Charlotte the Cat Queen is an ongoing saga. Tags: Charlotte. In 2007, she was diagnosed with pyothorax and was hospitalized for almost a week. Then in April 2008, we were told she had terminal cancer. So we waited for her to die for about 8 months. She is on Clavamox, Prednisolone, and Terbutaline. So, the saga continues.

Heck, even my cats visibly missed old Charlotte who died last August. Tags: chimpanzees jane goodall animal research. I believe that great apes do have that capacity. I've read of the mountain gorillas in Virunga grieving over the loss of a silverback. Commenters state that Jane Goodall herself witnessed mourning with the Gombe chimps.
