But, as I have mentioned, this was not a birding excursion but a beach vacation with the family and friends, so seeing seabirds was not high on the list of priorities when we planned the trip. If you go to Culebra you will be astounded at the sheer number of outdoor cats and chickens. Of herons and egrets I only saw two species.
