Toddler incident Dutch woman incident This shows an issue gorillas and many primates have, due to not being predators by nature, they don't actually know where to strike to kill something. Furthermore, we have two gorilla maulings on record. Both victims survived, the first one being a toddler.

I think that ocean life, with the exception of mammals, are often overlooked because they are not the sentient, communicating species that we identify with, like primates, dogs, cats, etc. If you are eating a fish, you are still eating a living thing. But I may not find one.

Each year, millions of cats, dogs, non-human primates and other animals suffer and die in research laboratories. President Obama promised to eliminate wasteful government spending; funding for animal research is one area that is overdue for reform. Please do not advertise to sell your pets.

They did not experiment on primates (I asked!), Interesting that many of the grants this place gets specifically say they can't experiment on any domesticated animals (cats and dogs I guess.). There was a poster in the lunch room with four cute animals (a dog, cat, rabbit and something else.) It was a rather grim place.

Even among our primate relatives, whoa are generally very smart, “Theory of Mind” is found in only a few species. If the crows can distinguish between UCA and HCA, they should treat UCA related events with caution, but be more indifferent to events caused by a HCA, unless of course the HCA is a cat.
