As for Project Treadstone, there have been three fatalities-by-automobile and one litter of three kittens, two of whom were caught and adopted fairly early. There are now about 10 cats who are unsterilized, and next week the women at the site, with a little help from their friends, will start trapping again. My poor boy.

And on a down note, Gray Momma of Project Treadstone was hit by a car and euthanized a couple of days ago. Also, there are three kittens, who are the only kittens since Project Treadstone began, so that's not so bad. In about four months, the entire site of about 30 cats is almost done!

mikey, my stance can be seen in the posts about Project Treadstone (and if you type Project Treadstone into the Google Search box just below my half-blind, diabetic greyhound, Violet Rays, on the right, you'll get a dozen more posts). How contradictory is that? So mikey, I agree with you in theory.
