On March 11th, RPA sent the governors of all 50 states a letter and two factsheets urging them to help get their land-grant universities (LGUs) out of the meat industry. The meat industry will say yes, of course, all animals are treated and killed humanely. You are not processing their wellbeing, but their carcasses for meat. Livestock don’t contribute to campaigns, but agribusiness does. It's a thoughtful question I wish more people would ask. Here is my opinion.

But then again, it could be due to the fact that we are constantly bombarded with billion-dollar advertising campaigns from the meat industries, the dairy industry, and the egg industry, as well as from myriad restaurant chains that promote and sell these very animal products.
