So, here we go… Fighting in Iraq has been affecting starlings. If this was America, we might not be concerned because starlings are an invasive species, at least in North America. Although the birds had just completed a migration of more than 2,500km, they still had the energy to evade the danger.

Subsequent visits by the birder and those who came after him have added species after species to the list, and the sheet is now considered part of Germany’s cultural heritage as far as I am concerned. Waghäusel is most faaaaamous for its breeding Purple Herons. In this case, we are looking at a few Pochards.
