This whole mess reminds me of other similar situations.Kosovo, Bosnia, Rwanda. I am no supporter of the Iraq War. There is a crisis and the UN and the EU do the proverbial "fiddling while Rome burns." What is the point of having UN peacekeepers when they are incapable of keeping the peace? How far can diplomacy really go?
