To compensate for their lack of skill, hunters set their dogs upon a wild pig—a descendant of boars brought to America solely to give hunters the pleasure of killing a helpless animal. Many hunters compound their cruelty by abandoning their dogs when they are no longer of use. It is an exhibition of human nature at its worst.
