A winding track through dense woodlands takes us to the Telia Lake in the southeast of the Tadoba Tiger Reserve in Maharashtra. There’s a Sloth Bear in tall, dry grass, barely 50 metres from us, but all we can see is a dark, shape-shifting shadow that eventually becomes all but invisible. These are my first wild tigers ever!

Nitin hopes to enlarge his collection of photos of Tigers. I am curious to see whatever awaits us in the Nagzira Tiger Reserve. My daughter and I were exploring our yard the other day, which presented the perfect opportunity to introduce her to one of the coolest, cuddliest caterpillars of all… The wonderful Woolly Bear Caterpillar ( Pyrrharctia isabella ) is a common sight once October rolls around in temperate regions of the United States east of the Mississippi.

In front of us, in the Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve one wild Grey Junglefowl runs across the road. For you and me, there are about 200 bird species, but for proper tourists, there seem to be only five species in the reserve: Bengal Tiger , Leopard , Sloth Bear , Indian Wild Dog (Dhole) and the Gaur. February 2013.

Say you get a few tigers, lions, wolves, bears, mate em and make an army for the sole purpose of war, get a few tigers turn em into war cats. Release them wherever the enemies are at night, highly trained war cats stealthily take out the outpost being guarded, how would this not work?
