This week I came across a wonderful little video ( here ) of Starlings by Liberty Smith and Sophie Windsor Clive: now, wasn’t that cute. and incredibly impressive.

December’s numbers looked like this; 10 beats visited 11 countries (Bahrain, New Zealand, USA, UK, Costa Rica, China, Mexico, Australia Nigeria, Uganda and Serbia) during December. They came home exhausted.

Without including the new pin in the map, countries this month featured; USA, Australia, Serbia, Bahrain, India, Kuwait, New Zealand, UK, Ghana and of course, Costa Rica. The life list has received a huge boost this month and has risen 43 points to 3616. Thunder will be stolen if I reveal how this was done, but another country has been added to our territory list and a new splash of colour to the profile page. All will be revealed in good time.

Redgannet, increasingly easy to confuse these days, was surprised to find himself in The Kingdom of Bahrain. It’s all been happening this month. Just when we thought that the beats deserved a quiet month after the exertions of May, they came out with Bushnell’s blazing and gave June both barrels! Honduras , Malaysia and the southern-most bits of South Africa feature large this month with Mike, Duncan and Tom all vying to be MVB for June.
