To the Editor: “ For ‘Animal Precinct,’ Reality Subject to Dispute ” (news article, July 23) missed the entire point of comprehensive animal welfare: that effective animal welfare requires both response and prevention. We constantly stretch our limited resources to save lives as a nonprofit organization.
