Hunters go to Africa to shoot lions, and this is without question a good thing; for birds, for ecosystems, and for lions in general! Melissa Bachmann, the hunter at the centre of the current storm, paid around $125,000 to shoot her male lion, and that’s not a small amount of money for a single lion in rural Africa.
