In 2014 , the accountants seem to have first raised the issue of “substantial doubt” about the ABA’s ability “to continue as a going concern.”. The impact was a significant decline in the financial health of the ABA.

Underneath an arched branch, one familiar bird, a Common Blackbird female… but after a recent split in 2005 by Rasmussen and Anderton, it was elevated to a full species – Indian Blackbird ( Turdus simillimus ). It belongs to the same species as those in Europe, but a smaller subspecies ( Sus scrofa davidi ).

Pied Oystercatcher breeding season 2018

This year is the eighteenth year since we discovered our first Pied Oystercatcher nest on Cable Beach in Broome and it didn’t take us long to realise that they are not at all successful at raising young due to egg and chick predation. He last raised a chick successfully in 2016 and has nested in this area since 2008.

Busch Gardens Welcomes New Baby Cheetah

When zoo keepers saw that the baby was not eating and having trouble gaining weight, they made the decision to hand-raise him. The new cub was born at the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens to a mother who wasn’t able to care for him. Now, at a little more than two pounds, the cub is eating well, getting stronger and eagerly exploring his new home.

THE QUEST FOR THE RAREST OWL OF INDIA

Raising and lowering its head, like stretching. This many birds at the same site (out of 250 of the reserve checklist) have lightened our spirits, but still – no owlet! Rhesus Macaque © Marina Vukovic-Bhardwaj. It rotates its head 180 degrees to keep an eye on us. Humbly, we approach on foot. And it becomes a motionless observer once more.
