I successfully chased that Hooded Crane in Idaho in April 2010. Very cool bird. It’s on my eBird life list. And since I’m not competing for ABA area birding dominance, I’m not too concerned about whether I should or should not count it due to questionable provenance.
While I may not be a twitcher cranes are birds I might make an exception for.
I wish I was in Tennessee right now!
As of this morning, it was still there. What a thrill! (even if it doesn’t turn out to be “countable”)
