Why Do Animals Exist?
One of them was pretty educated about the evils of factory farming, and said that she didn’t eat much meat because she had to know where it came from. This weekend I got into a rather passionate debate with some friends of friends about animal rights. I said that I think animals exist for their own purposes, not for ours.

Veganism in the Workplace
I didn’t want potential employers to be able to find it and not hire me on the basis of my ethics as they pertain to food. This presents both an opportunity for education and sometimes awkwardness. After a 7 month hiatus from this blog, I wonder: is anyone still out there? Anyone waiting for me to post? We had 400 of them.
