Do you think such a loud and intense sound would scare a bear away? I'm curious about the potential of using sound as a deterrent for bears. Imagine you have a 'hypothetical' microphone that can emit high decibel, dinosaur like, roaring sounds. Is it even possible to achieve with small speakers nowadays?

My dumb friend keeps saying that a wolverine would beat a polar bear and “jump on its back and cut its throat” and he seems to think wolverines are faster even though a quick search says otherwise and the only recorded incident of a wolverine killing a bear was at a zoo, where both animals are out of it’s natural habitat.

My theory is that the transition from a close relationship with their moms to be suddenly chased off makes bears angry and they have resentment. Note how friendly bear cubs are to humans vs adult bears. I am sure there are counter examples, but the separation I believe accounts for the aggression in adult bears.

The Three Bears general store has been called out time and time again for mistreating these Bears, the bears look miserable have no clean water, all water in the sanctuary is dyed. A person threw an apple into the area and an elderly Asiatic Brown Bear quickly scrambled to lap it up leaving no pieces behind.

A Red Fox in Georgia, not looking very red I’ve never been to Svalbard, so I haven’t ticked off polar bear, but I have seen brown bears on a number of occasions in both Romania and Bulgaria. I’ve also sat for hours in unabated hides in Bulgaria where it’s a matter of luck whether you see a bear or not. in the evening.

So i just saw a short on YouTube about a black bear, just chilling with a group of people at a picnic table and he calmly sat down and ate a sandwich with them. I've also seen a video of a grizzly just lazing about next to a man near a river stream, like literally 3 feet away from the guy.

The second bear to meet its end this year on the Trans-Canada Highway has prompted an animal rights group to call for immediate repairs to a fence line intended to protect wildlife in Banff National Park. Canadian authorities want to release an orphaned baby bear into the wild at 6 months when mother bears usually push their children out at 18 months. Animal right groups are very angry and fear the baby might die by itself. I can't blame the activists. This decision makes little sense to me.
